Posted by YANGON, Myanmar – Myanmar announced Thursday that it would resume issuing visitors visas to revive its dormant tourism industry, devastated by the coronavirus pandemic and violent political unrest.
According to a government notice published in the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar newspaper on Sunday, tourist “eVisas” will be issued online to harmonize tourism with neighboring countries.
